2026 NPHC Book Stipend Scholarship
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is proud to offer its annual Book Stipend Scholarship to graduating high school seniors in Hillsborough and Pasco Counties. Two deserving students will each receive a $1,500 scholarship to support their educational journey.
 
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

• Be a graduating high school senior in Hillsborough or Pasco County

• Have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA

Application Requirements

To complete the application, students must submit the following:

• An official high school transcript reflecting a minimum 3.0 GPA

• One (1) letter of recommendation from an academic reference (teacher, counselor, administrator, or other school faculty member)

• A 500-word essay

• A 3–5 slide PowerPoint presentation responding to the prompt: “What impact do you want to have on your community and how would you like to be remembered?”

We encourage applicants to be authentic, thoughtful, and creative in sharing their goals and passions.

Submission Instructions

Official transcripts must:

• Be sent directly by a school administrator on official school letterhead

• Be emailed to: nphctampa@gmail.com

• Include the subject line: “NPHC Attn: 2026 Book Stipend”
   

Recommendation letters must:

• Be submitted from the recommender’s official school email address

• Be emailed to: nphctampa@gmail.com

Important Dates

• Application Deadline: May 25, 2026

• Recipients Notified: May 29, 2026

• Scholarship Awards Distributed: June 3, 2026
   

Once applications are submitted, the Scholarship Chair and Committee will carefully review and score each application. Applicants will receive a confirmation email within one week of the application deadline.
